A week-long Bridge course with special thrust on basic of English Grammar and Communication Skills in English before the start of the regular academic programmes, at the beginning of every academic year offered by the Department of English is one of the best practices of the college.

Objective:

 To build confidence in the beginners mostly from Tamil Medium schools.
 To make them feel at home with English Medium of instruction at the college level.
 To facilitate easy initiation into college education.
