The seminar started with Prayer. Mr. K. Vijay Amirtharaj, S.V.C.College of Education, Puliangudi was the resource person. He dealt with today’s burning issues regarding to environment in all its dimensions.  The regretted about the detoriating conditions of our environment.  The brought out the common problems which could be produced by the lack of water, forests and natural resources.  The also explained about the preservation and sustainable usage of ‘Natural Resources’.  He advised the students to take care of our environment.  He also discussed about the remedial measures on pollution control.  The highlighting session of the seminar was the slide shows.  The first one was the slide show of ‘The letter from A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’. It was kalam’s imagination about woman life in 2070.  That snow apparently mentioned the necessities of the natural resources.  The next slide show was ‘Vanishing forests’ it was full of mesmerizing pictures with poignant background music.  It denoted the importance of ‘Preserving forests’. The last one was a film called ‘Nandhavanam’ and it indicated cleanliness of our surroundings.  The seminar came to an end with vote of thanks.
