The Harmony Club, which is initiated with the objective to impart values on peace, human rights, religious tolerance and conservation of nature in the minds and  hearts of youth and to counter divisive forces that sow seeds of hatred and mistrust, was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Arulsivan, Superior, Beschi College (Formation of House of Jesuit Priests), Dindigul.  Dr. Sr. Y. Yesu Thangam, Principal, elucidated on the goals and objectives of the club and administered oath to the members of the club.  Dr. Sr. Reginal, Secretary, presented her felicitations. The chief guest, in his special address, classified people into three kinds, firstly, the people who have unlimited wants and they are always selfish, secondly, the people who love others and they always care for others and thirdly, the people who live for others and they are the great people and they bring social transformation. He ended his talk by saying that the root cause for all sorts of violence and evils is human’s greed. Skit and dance focusing the values of peace and harmony were performed. Mrs. Jascintha Vilveena, Associated Professor of History proposed vote of thanks.
